Helene Feldman, President
Helene Feldman founded Helene Feldman Inc., Elder Care Management as a private geriatric care management firm that provides services to families in Philadelphia and its surrounding counties.
She brings more than 25 years of experience working for and with geriatric healthcare providers, including rehabilitation hospitals, home care agencies, retirement communities, independent and assisted living facilities, dementia units, adult day care centers and skilled nursing facilities.
As a noted expert in her field, she has been invited to train medical students about home care issues involving the patient, caregiver, and resources and entitlements.
An active member of the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers, Helene serves as a Board member and Secretary of the Philadelphia area chapter.
Her other memberships include the American Society on Aging,
the Eastern Pennsylvania Geriatric Society,
the Professional Care Alliance of the Delaware Valley, The Alzheimer’s Association and Children of Aging Parents.
She is on the Advisory Board of Aging Well Magazine, and was quoted in a September 2007 article titled, "Professional Geriatric Care Managers: Who Are They?"
Helene graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor of Arts degree, and received a Certificate in Gerontology from the Temple University Medical School’s Institute on Aging.
Additionally, she holds a Certificate (CMC) from the National Academy of Certified Care Managers.
Helene enjoys drawing, painting, photography, meditating, travel and spending time with her daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren.
